- John has over 20 years experience working in healthcare, both as a nurse and as a nurse practitioner
- He has experience in many different specialties, including cardiology, pulmonology, critical care medicine, hospitalist and office medicine
- He is a native US English speaker with a clear Midwestern accent

We will discuss how the prefix, suffix and root words work together to create an accurate description of a body part or disease.

I've posted a study sheet on common prefixes, suffixes and root words. Download the PDF, cut out the flash cards, and rearrange them to create terms. This will help you understand how these words are put together, and you might come up with some creative words on your own!
