Safeguarding Learners Policy

At eLearn by Zorarte, we are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all our students. Our Safeguarding Learners Policy outlines our commitment to promoting the well-being, safety, and protection of learners from harm, abuse, or neglect.

  1. Staff Responsibilities:
  • All staff members, including instructors, administrators, and support staff, have a responsibility to safeguard learners and report any concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Staff members receive training and guidance on safeguarding policies, procedures, and best practices.
  1. Learner Responsibilities:
  • Learners are encouraged to report any concerns or incidents related to their safety, well-being, or the safety of others to appropriate authorities or designated safeguarding officers.
  • Learners are expected to treat others with respect, refrain from behavior that may cause harm or distress, and adhere to our code of conduct.

Types of Concerns:

  1. Physical Safety: Ensuring that learning environments, facilities, and equipment are safe and free from hazards.
  2. Emotional Well-being: Supporting learners’ emotional health and providing resources for mental health support if needed.
  3. Online Safety: Promoting online safety and cyberbullying prevention for learners participating in virtual learning environments.
  4. Protection from Abuse: Taking measures to prevent and respond to incidents of abuse, harassment, discrimination, or bullying.

Reporting and Response:

  1. Reporting Procedure:
  • Any concerns or incidents related to safeguarding learners should be reported to the Safeguarding Officer or designated contact person at reporting@zorarte.com
  • Reports can be made confidentially, and anonymity will be respected if requested.
  1. Investigation and Response:
  • Upon receiving a report, the Safeguarding Officer will conduct a thorough investigation, assess the risk level, and take appropriate action in line with safeguarding policies and legal requirements.
  • Responses may include providing support to affected learners, involving external authorities or agencies if necessary, and implementing preventive measures.

Confidentiality and Privacy:
All safeguarding concerns, reports, and investigations will be handled with strict confidentiality, and the privacy of individuals involved will be respected throughout the process.
